Make a Grant to Oxfam America
Support from grantmakers represents an essential component of Oxfam America’s impact on poverty and social injustice around the world. Together with our funding partners we bring a unique value to international development work through transformative programs and advocacy campaigns that enable poor people to exercise their rights and build a sustainable livelihood.
The most useful grants are unrestricted and allow us to use the funding where it is needed most. Grants can also be restricted for specific programs, themes or geographic areas.
What's New
Climate Change Campaign
Oxfam America seeks grants to support our comprehensive response to global warming that addresses the cause of climate change and responds to the needs of the poorest, most vulnerable communities as they adapt to a changing environment. Our program is grounded in a powerful advocacy effort that seeks to advance US policies that provide funding for climate adaptation; promote fair allocation of resources in the US and internationally; and bring a human face to the climate change crisis. more »

Oxfam is also committed to staying in the region after the immediate danger has passed to help devastated communities recover and rebuild. more »
Extractive Industries Campaign
Oxfam America’s new campaign "Right to Know, Right to Decide" is calling on oil, gas, and mining companies to fully respect the right of communities to participate in decision-making and to fully disclose money they pay to foreign governments—information that is crucial for ensuring that governments use these funds to reduce poverty and protect human rights. A grant in support of this program would help give poor people a voice in decisions that impact their ability to live. more »
Agriculture & Trade
Recent dramatic increases in agricultural commodity and food prices have increased the challenges for small-scale farmers around the world. Small scale agriculture is critical to 2.25 million of the 3 billion people who live in poverty worldwide. Oxfam America is advocating for changes in global trade policies that have institutionalized poverty and executing programs to develop sustainable methods for farmers. We seek grants to help farming communities achieve a more stable and sustainable existence. more »
